MALEXA PROJECT I

NEW BAG ALERT!

Today, we have a new American designer to keep an eye out for in the next decade. Italian-American women’s wear designer, Martina Bale, specializes in making universal hi-low fashion for everyone through the woman’s lens. Her design choices are refreshing and unique through utilization of classic silhouettes done in unorthodox ways. Her pieces exude luxury with their subtle use of high-end materials finished in class-defining ways. She works worth the clean lines of Prada and combines that style with the innovative vhybe of a Sacai to create something completely new. This time around, she’s sharing her “Bucket Bag” with us. It’s like an Upper-East-Side Camping Bag— let us explain. The look is so utilitarian, we feel like we can fit all of our survival gear in it. However, the finish is so luxe in that butter soft calf skin, we feel like the only thing that bag should touch are marble, glass, and leather— primarily being tables and luxury seats. Making the perfect small tote, we want MALEXA to put this style out like yesterday! Stop being selfish. We will gladly cough up the $800 for true handmade true designer goods. Being her first official project, we expect to see room to grow. However, the young lady may need a whole new pair of shoes to fill as she knocks the first pitch out of the Park. We’re excited to see where she takes her journey, easily marking herself as a pioneer of the next generation of American-Italian fashion designers. Check out more of her work here.
